Hi there,
My name is Dave Robus and for the past 23 years I have made a very good living as a Taxi Company owner and driver. I have run two businesses consecutively for seven years, the second business being a really busy cafe near to the local Railway Station. I sold the cafe business in 2003 to try and concentrate on building the taxi business up in order to eventually retire and hand it over to my son.
He has now taken over with effect from April this year (2008) but I am still very much in operation with him and do not intend to permanently retire for quite some time. What I do intend however is to build up a full time income from the world wide web, within as short a period as possible and then to retire from the taxi company altogether.
Incidentally the name of our company is TAXI-TIME LTD and you can find us in the South East corner of England by logging in to www.taxi-time.com
Before I started the taxi business I was employed for over twenty years in the Timber Trade initially as an apprentice, then as a manager and finally as a regional Controller for a national company.
Also in more recent years I have bought and sold various items on ebay. However since first joining the ebay community I have become more and more interested in books, especially very old and vintage books. Also I have always been interested in pictures, prints, photographs and posters all of my life
At this time therefore I am seriously thinking of using these products as my basis for earning my online income, but we will just have to see how things progress and in what direction they finally turn.
One thing that I do know for CERTAIN is I have now started, and what I start I always finish. So here we are at the beginning of a new money making adventure which you can all follow if you so desire. Who knows in a few weeks or months you too will be starting up with your own online venture and hopefully profitable niche market.
For now until the next post, to SUCCESS for us all.
Dave Robus.
