November 5th is Fireworks Night-Stay Safe/ Read an Old Book.

I hope you are all having a great Fireworks night.

To be honest I wasn’t going to write anything on my blog tonight so I’ll just keep this short and to the point for now.

The only reason is that I was just browsing around on bookfinder and as it is November the 5th I thought I’d look up Guy Fawkes.

JOHN W PARKER London 1839 First Morocco 12mo Hardback viii + 133 pages, 8 page book catalogue, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED by the insertion of 28 scenes, portraits etc by Frederick Hulsius and others dating from the early 17th century, bound in three-quarter green morocco, top edge gilt, raised bands on spine, with gilt decoration and gilt lettering, a very nice bright crisp copy. • Now imagine if you can find this book on an old junk stall, in a craft market or the like, as I have spoken about many times before on this blog. Pick it up for a couple of pounds or even a few pennies. Take it home and sell as it is on ebay. Or better still turn it into your very own product… (It is obviously in the Public Domain) and make money from it for as long as you like
