Old Books or new books, ebooks and readers.

Hello everyone.

Welcome once again to my blog, or should I say ramblings, for that is what I seem to be doing a lot of just lately.

Today I had the fortune to drive down a country lane that had the unusual name of believe it or not “Readers Lane” What’ more I was actually visiting a place called “Readers Barn” and this is what led me to thinking about this post.

Purely because I had a little time on my hands, I sat and wondered where such a name could possibly have come from. I could only draw the conclusion that maybe at some time in the dim and distant past it was a place where people could sit quietly and read or contemplate their thoughts.

Well I’ll probably never find out, but it really doesn’t matter because what is more important is that there are still hundreds of thousands, if not millions of old books still in existence today that may at one time have been lurking in “readers” barn, or indeed in any other barn just like it around the world.

Anyway as we all know by now “Old Books Make Money” and the right old books if turned into new books can make absolute fortunes for their owner’s. You could almost say “new books for old” and take just one old book to turn it into as many new books as you require, literally mountains of them, just whenever and where ever you like, to make amazing profits at your leisure.

New books, once taken and produced from old books, can be reproduced and sold any place you desire if they are in paper format, such as bookshops, craft stalls, supermarkets, newsagents, garages, etc or even at online websites such as ebay and amazon.

They can also be read anytime and any place at your leisure, but with one small setback. You can only physically carry around a few books realistically before the weight of them starts to take its toll on you or your suitcase. Also if you try to carry too many books on an aircraft for instance you will naturally be charged for excess baggage.

I am pleased therefore to have found a fantastic new way to carry and read your new books in almost any quantity you desire. I have recently purchased a new product called an ebook reader. The particular one I have bought is produced by the Sony Corporation and holds in its very light nine ounce frame up to 160 full size books of your own choice. Add in an SD Card and the sky’s the limit however. You can purchase books for the ebook reader from shops or online.

More to the point if you are into Internet Marketing and read a load of inspirational ebooks as I do, then you can load them onto your reader directly from your computer and take them anywhere you want. No need to carry a laptop with you. Just open the reader, switch it on and away you go. It has enough page turns to read War & Peace 5 times over on one recharge, that’s nearly seven thousand page turns or twenty two 300 page books. What more could you ask for except maybe for this link to Sony to take a look for yourself.

You can take as many books you like away with you in your pocket as the ebook reader is just six inches by four inches in size and less than half an inch thick.

If you want free reading material to help you in your search for Old Books then take a look on google and in the search box type “free ebook download”. I guarantee you will be simply amazed at the results.

However if you want to find out how to turn old books into money then take a look here.

All the best for now,

Dave
