Hi to all my loyal readers,

I just thought I’d let you know that if you hadn’t seen it already for yourself google placed a picture of paddington on their homepage today to celebrate his fiftieth birthday.

Now you may think that is a strange thing for me to blog about, but if you think about it you’ll know that he’s already well into middle age. For the real youngster’s among you that could be a book in the making by the time you are my age.

For the rest of us I guess we’ll just have to keep looking for books that are older than Paddington Bear. Just remember to keep up your search and if you want to find children’s books to turn into your very own products then you could have a good look at what Walt Disney did a few years ago. Remember he took some amazing material from the Public Domain and made millions from it.

Now its our turn. Why not google childrens books from the nineteenth century and see what you come up with
