Ping your Site and get found more easily

Here is a brilliant little piece of infomation for you all.

This is just a quick message for all my loyal readers here, especially if you are having trouble getting found.

My son came across a fantastic way to get your website or blog updated.

I am not going to repeat his post here but will give you a link to it at the end of this short message.

I will however give you the very short and easy instructions.

TRY IT. IT WORKS LIkE MAGIC!

do this yourself its quite simple, in fact its childs play.

1. open the msdos or command prompt (you will find this in the accessories folder if using windows)
2. press enter
3. at the end of the line that starts “C:\Documents and Settings” type the words
4. ping www.your-url here
   
5. and then press enter.
6. you will be given a little bit of info about how long it took to tranfer the data and get a reply.
7. The search engine’s now know you have new information on your site and should list you.
