Public Domain book scanning and digitising is about to become kids stuff.
Never before has it been so easy to take your old book and scan it ready for editing in readiness to upload to your sales site or convert to a PDF file.
As you know a fantastic way to make money from old Public Domain books is to scan them yourself, have the scanning process done for you or spend laborious hours manually copying and subsequently editing the text.
This is all about to change within about two months.
I have found a product that is due to launch in the UK and America probably around the end of April. The product which is being produced by Ion will convert 200 pages of book text into an eBook format in about fifteen minutes. It also takes a snapshot of any pictures and images in any book you are scanning.
You will be able to convert any book you like and read it on an eBook reader,or your computer but what is more important to the Public Domain Treasure Hunter/ Gatherer's among us is this.
We will be able to take our old books and extremely quickly and as easily as taking photographs convert them into CD's and eBooks for selling on sites such as eBay or Amazon.
Making Public Domain Profits is about to become much simpler for us all.
I don't know about you but personally I have already been in touch with the manufacturers to place my advance order. It is estimated that the cost is going to be around $150 or £100, but that could be a conservative figure.
Even at £200 as far as I am concerned it will be money very wisely invested when you think of the amount of work saved, not least the extra Public Domain books that can be posted to auction sites and my own sites earning a regular residual income day in and day out for years to come.
My Public Domain business is about to become cheaper to operate, but more importantly it is on the verge of growing at an exponential rate as I will be able to scan and copy, for instance a 500 page book in about 40 minutes maximum.
