Will old books make money for you?

Hi everybody,

Dave Robus here again with a short update. Now I don’t know how you got on with your bookbuying foray last weekend, but I certainly hope that you all tried very hard to at least search for one old and out of date book on a subject that you liked the look of.

My long term friend and associate Michael has been interested in old books for as long as I can remember. He often goes to boot sales and craft fairs, etc or does a search for them on ebay and buys up books that he thinks he may be able to sell on, hopefully for a few pounds more each than he has paid. Michael just buys old books up on any subject that he likes the look of, then each week he relists them on an ebay auction and in his ebay shop, sits back and waits for a few pounds to roll in ocassionally. All this just to supplement his income and maybe have a meal out, without breaking the piggy bank. It’s not the way I want you to go about selling any old books you find. They are much more valuable if you keep them for yourself.

Michael’s method as stated above is OK if all you are expecting to earn is a couple of pounds here and there, but not so great if you want to make a fantastic online income for life. So this week I invited Michael down to my house and showed him how to really make money from old books, by keeping all the very best ones for himself, but at the same time selling those very same books over and over again. CONFUSED? I know I was when I first heard how to do this and Michael was totally confused as well. That is until I took him into my confidence and gave him a brief explanation of how to proceed.

He was totally amazed at the simplicity of the project which I have discovered and chosen to call “OLD BOOKS MAKE MONEY.” Michael has gone home buzzing with idea’s and secretly wishing he hadn’t sold some of those old books that he got for pennies on the pound. After all he is an avid reader and collector and knows his books very well. What he didn’t know was that whenever he resold his old books, which were usually snapped up buy others who always seemed to be regular bookbuyers, they were probably being bought for the very purpose that I have just shown him. In other words anyone buying his books were using them to secure a good income for themselves, and what’s more for a long time into the future for each and every old book that he parted company with.

From now on believe me, his book collecting has taken on a whole new meaning. In fact I feel sure that his way of making money has also taken a completely different direction as well. Michael is going out tomorrow morning with a head start on all the boot sale traders,  looking for books on suitable subjects for his new found money making method.

Armed with a draft copy of “Old Books Make Money” so that he can really get to grips with the project Michael is like the proverbial dog with two tails. Soon you to will be able to do exactly the same as Michael and hundreds of others who are secretly in the know. Soon you will be among the rest of us making money and keeping our books. With this in mind why not have another day out tomorrow looking for more fantastic subjects that you will soon be able to turn into a cash producing project for the long term future.

Remember to just keep telling yourself “Old Books Make Money” and watch this space for more interesting updates. In the meantime have a look at some of my recommended sites to see what a few of the  “already in the know” entrepreneurs are doing.

Have fun and soon you will start to make profits at the same time.

All the best until next time.

Dave Robus.
